Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll/benefits administration/HR
- Invoicing and purchase orders
- Bank deposits and reconciliations
- Monthly financial statements
- Submission of timely PST, GST and source deductions
- Assist with customer quotes/inquiries
- Liaise between company departments when necessary
- General administration – including policy and procedure
- Coordination of company events and activities
- Onboarding employees and training
- Ensure staff follow health and safety practices
Qualifications:
- A self-starter who is highly organized and motivated
- Experience in accounting or a post-secondary business/accounting diploma is required
- Problem solving abilities and strong analytical skills
- Works well independently, ability to motivate and engage fellow coworkers
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
- Experience in a similar environment an asset
